Last Sunday in Seminyak felt like the kind of afternoon everyone had quietly been looking forward to. Not loud. Not chaotic. More like a calm party you actually want to attend.
Outside, scooters buzzed past and cafés were packed as usual. Inside the Home Style showroom, though, the mood shifted. It felt like Home Style had decided to host something different. Instead of showing off perfectly styled sofas and polished tables, it opened the doors and said, come in, sit down, let’s make something.
And instead of doing it alone, Home Style invited a friend. La-viera Bloom arrived like that effortlessly cool guest who knows how to bring the right energy into a room. Not loud. Not showy. Just calm, confident, and ready to turn an ordinary afternoon into something memorable.
Long tables were set up like they were waiting for guests of honor. Fresh flowers in soft, layered colors. Wrapping paper stacked neatly. Ribbons curled at the edges. Scissors and tools placed with intention. It looked almost too beautiful to touch.
But once one person reached for a stem, the room shifted. Conversations started. Hands moved. Laughter followed small mistakes. The showroom, which usually feels curated and pristine, began to feel alive.
The workshop was called “Wrap Your Bouquet,” but it didn’t feel like a formal class. It felt like a gathering. The kind where everyone participates. La-viera Bloom moved around the space offering small suggestions, adjusting a stem here, tilting a bloom there. No strict instructions. No pressure. Just guidance that made you feel capable.
There were only a handful of us, which made everything feel personal. Not empty. Not sparse. Intimate. Every voice could be heard. Every bouquet received attention. You could ask the smallest question without hesitation. How tight should the stems be held? Why does this side look heavier?
Advice moved around the table naturally. One person’s small discovery became another person’s solution. It felt like friends figuring something out together.
And as the bouquets slowly took shape, the showroom transformed. Sofas became backdrops. Coffee tables became styling spaces. The flowers added movement, color, and softness that made the entire room feel warmer. What had once looked like a luxury display now felt like a living space mid-conversation.
Loose leaves scattered across the tables. Bits of ribbon curled on the floor. The faint scent of fresh stems filled the air. The space no longer felt staged. It felt active, almost breathing.
Subtle touches from Mĕrubali blended into the atmosphere without interrupting it. Everything felt considered but not forced. Calm, yet undeniably fun.
By the end, every bouquet looked different. Some were structured and symmetrical. Others leaned slightly, softer and more expressive. You could almost read personalities in the way flowers were wrapped. And when photos started, it wasn’t about posing. It was about wanting to remember the feeling.
It wasn’t only about arranging flowers. It was about how a space changes when people create inside it. How a showroom becomes a gathering. How a calm afternoon still holds energy when the right people come together.
